I’m thrilled to share that my second novel, ‘Letters In Suitcases Abandoned’ – Spirits of the Past Book Two, is complete and now it’s time to breath life into the story!
This intergenerational story follows three women — mother, daughter, and granddaughter — whose lives are complexly interwoven across time and geography: from the shadows of Amsterdam and Bergen-Belsen during World War Two, to the sunlit resilience of a kibbutz in northern Israel, and the buzzing vibes of modern-day Tel Aviv.
At the heart of the novel is Lisa, whose name forms the acronym of the title — a nod to the letters, memories, and silences carried across generations in literal and metaphorical suitcases. The narrative explores how trauma, love, and identity are inherited, reinterpreted, and sometimes abandoned in pursuit of healing.
As I begin the editing journey, I’m reflecting on the emotional weight and historical depth of these characters — and considering how best to honour their stories. I’m excited to see where it goes.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far. Your encouragement means the world.
Stay tuned — more to come!
