I’ve just sent the first part of Letters In Suitcases Abandoned to my editor, Georgia. Part One — Anne — totals 15,377 words (103 pages). It opens in 1944 and begins the thread that will carry three women’s lives across countries and decades: from Amsterdam and Bergen‑Belsen to a kibbutz in northern Israel and the streets of modern Tel Aviv.

Sending Anne to editorial eyes is a milestone: it’s the first time this section of the story will be reviewed with another reader’s expertise and perspective. That collaboration will sharpen the manuscript through structural feedback, line edits, and proofreading.

Georgia is eager to begin. While she works on Part One, I’ll be revising Part Two, “Chana,” and Part Three, “Lisa,” tightening language, verifying historical detail, and strengthening the emotional through‑lines. Once I receive Georgia’s notes, I’ll incorporate them and send Part Two for editing.
