“Some stories refuse to remain buried…”
Today is the day!
I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that Letters in Suitcases Abandoned is officially published and available now!
This novel has been an incredible journey, from the first spark of an idea to the finished book, and I can hardly believe the day has finally arrived.
Also known as LISA, after one of the novel’s three remarkable women, Letters in Suitcases Abandoned is the latest instalment in my Spirits of the Past series.
A sweeping historical novel infused with supernatural elements, haunting scenes and echoes of generations long gone, it explores war, survival, memory, the enduring bond between mothers and daughters, and the incomprehensible persecution of the Jewish people.
To everyone who has supported and encouraged me, read the book, liked and shared my posts, or simply believed in this story: thank you! Your kindness and enthusiasm mean more to me than I can express.
If you love stories of secrets, discovery, love, loss and the unexpected connections that shape our lives, I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
Letters in Suitcases Abandoned is available on Amazon and other online platforms, and is also available to order through bookstores.
Thank you for sharing this special day with me. Here’s to new beginnings, unforgettable stories and the joy of seeing this book find its readers!
With love,
Richard
PS. The story doesn’t end here!
I’ve already begun work on the third and final instalment in the Spirits of the Past series.
Set in a hotel on a fictional island in the Venetian Lagoon, the novel centres on the restless spirit of a fifteenth-century ghost who cannot find peace. Inspired by Venice’s legendary Ca’ Dario, often called the “cursed house”, it will explore secrets, tragedy and the haunting legacy of the past.
Having visited Venice in May, we completely fell in love with the city. Its centuries of history, mystery and untold stories make it the perfect setting for the series’ final chapter.
The past still has stories to tell…
